A new report by researchers from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, the Office of the New Jersey State Climatologist, and the University of Delaware summarizes the current scientific information on climate trends and projections in New Jersey. The report details specific New Jersey climate trends and aggregates analyses and projections from across the climate change research field.

“Warmer temperatures are producing more severe heat waves. Sea-level rise and heavy rains are causing more intense flooding. These and other climate-related hazards are projected to escalate through the 21st century and will fall heaviest on NJ’s most vulnerable residents.”
